  What a fabulous week we had!! The boathouse oozes a sense of history and adventure and was like nothing we have stayed in before or could do even if you paid. A completely unique home with a wonderful garden and peace full rural surroundings. We absolutely loved our week here, beaches, paddle boarding on the river, rosé watching the sun go down, plying cops and robbers in the garden with the children, and collapsing into bed exhausted of fresh air to listen to the cows grazing! The dream week we are so grateful! Would love to do it again! Thankyou

  We enjoyed a fabulous week in the bright and spacious appartement of Julia and Colin, with all the comfort one can wish, fine art and books and not least an amazing sunny terrace, overlooking a nice canal. We enjoyed the warm welcome and the practical information to explore the lively neighborhood. The bus stop is in front of the house and connects you easily to all the points of interest in London. The location was great to start walks to Notting Hill and Regent's Park, also to explore less- touristic places like Primrose Hill and Hampstead Heath ( the excellent guide "London's hidden walks"by Stephen Miller - Metro publications - is strongly recommended). Julia's and Colins place is ideal for culture -architecture and art lovers who want to explore London from a different angle.

  Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour chez Julia and Colin en ao 2018. L'appartement est vraiment très confortable et particulièrement agréable. En plus il est très bien situé au bord du canal avec péniches, avec un balcon d'été. Les bus s'arrêtent devant l'immeuble et Notting Hill est tout près. Une excellente adresse pour découvrir Londres. Un grand merci à Julia et Colin.

  LUXURIOUS LONDON LOCATION We had the most wonderful exchange with Julia and Colin. It is a great location: a 10 min stroll along a picturesque canal with charming houseboats, ducks and old trees brings you to vivacious Portobello road with its cafés, shops, famous Portobello market and tasty world food. You'll live within walking distance to Notting Hill. A bus stop just across the street that carries you into the heart of London, and the neighbourhood is friendly and pleasant. The apartment itself is cosy, with beautiful and spacious rooms, two large bathrooms and two balconies that offer great views. It has modern furniture and a warm feeling to it - we felt at home the minute we arrived. You'll love it, I am sure. • Funky,stylish,modern fantastic position

  We loved the fact we could leave the busy life on the streets of London to the haven of Julia and Colins huge roomy apartment overlooking life on the canal Bus stop across the road, walking distance to amazing cullinary experiences,great convenience shops below even a fabulous barber one of our favourite experiences, walks along the canal into a gorgeous little community park. Julia and Colin were fantastic hosts and all their recommendations gelled with us We are not "city people" but this place totally worked for us. Loved it all
