We are a family of four, 2 adults and 2 boys. We both work in the technology industry and live in beautiful Bend Oregon right on the Deschutes River and also have a vacation property in California, both of which are available for exchange. We enjoy playing with our labradoodle and Spoodle (whom you do not have to take care of while we are gone, unless you wish to), staying active, cooking, fine food and wine, and travel.

Our home is a large, modern, new construction 4 bedroom 4.5 bath home located directly next to the beautiful Deschutes River in Bend, Oregon in the Pacific Northwest of the US. We enjoy views of the river and direct access to the river for swimming, fishing, etc. There is a large main bedroom on the main floor, with ensuite bath and shower. On the second floor there are two more bedrooms with queen memory foam mattresses and en suite bath and shower. There is also a separate brand new apartment, attached to and accessible through the house, with another king sized bed and bath/shower and separate kitchen. This house offers plenty of room for a large family with grandparents.

Our neighborhood is a small quiet residential neighborhood located directly on the Deschutes River. We are a few minutes walk from a hiking trail along the river, multiple parks, and 5 minute drive to quaint downtown Bend with wonderful shops and restaurants. In the winter, there is Mt. Bachelor ski resort available a 30 minute drive away.

Bend Oregon is well known for all kinds of outdoor activities. Hiking, waterfalls, river rafting and tubing, rock climbing, and skiing, just to name a few. It also has a beautiful and charming downtown area with lots of wonderful restaurants, breweries and shops. Bend is a huge tourist destination and we are lucky to live right on the Deschutes River, with views of and access to the river for swimming, fishing, etc.

We keep others' houses neat and tidy and would request the same. Please carefully monitor any young children near the river. Our neighborhood is very quiet and private -- please no loud parties or activities to disturb the neighbors. It's peaceful here and we hope you enjoy it that way as we do.
