Ons huis

Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil

A cosy and wonderful 1 bedroom apartment with garden 15 min walking distance from the breathtaking city centre of Florence. The apartment has one bedroom and I was able to obtain a lovely little space with one sort of bunk bed (1,70cm long) just next to the entrance behind the wooden bookcase. I call it "the boat" because it reminds me of that. Maybe from the picture it looks super small and not cosy but it's not! It's super cosy (there is a real matress )! The sofa in the living room is also very comfortable so, to me the apartment can host up to 4 people!
2 min walking distance we have the Cascine park, the only green lung of Florence where I usually go walking. 5min waking from the apartment you have: supermarkets, bars, bakeries, pizzerias, lovely places for aperitivo. I love hiking and discovering news places, so I know a lot of trails just around Florence that are amazing and I'll be happy to share my knowledge with you! :) In the past I have been a trip leader here in Tuscany so I know the region quite well in case you want to discover Tuscany as well!! :)
I invested a lot in this house, in terms of money, time and energy so, I expect that you treat it the same way you would do with your home. I certainly do the same with yours.
In case you come here in summer, I kindly ask you to use the A/C only when you are in and to turn it off when you leave the house. I care about our only and precious planet and I think we should all do our part! THANK YOU!

Beschrijving van onze buurt en omgeving

The apartment is on a quite busy road. The bedroom is the only room that faces that busy road and thanks to a very thick window I put the noise during the day is really low. At night I have to say that I hear something but to me it is not a problem anymore. I honestly think that even for people who can't stand noise at all, an earplug could be totally fine not to hear anything. The other part of the apartment faces the garden so it is pure silent!

Onze tips voor leuke activiteiten en uitjes bij ons in de buurt

One of the things that made me decide to buy this apartment is the position: just outside the city centre, close to the Cascine Park, 5 min walking distance to San Frediano, 10 min walking distance to San Niccolo' which are to me the most beautiful areas of Florence, the less touristy ones where we still have the artisans and the traditional shops. I live basically by the river (2 min to the river) and taking a stroll by the river Arno to the city centre at night is just amazing..beauty all around you..speechless..

Since it is my first house and it's the apartment I bought 2 years ago I expect the people who come and stay here to treat it respectfully, the same way you would do with your house. That's it. Then, enjoy your stay and lovely Florence :)
