The view of the Osfjord from this lovely home is expansive and entrancing. It is a short stroll to the picturesque village of Asgardstrand with all its offerings. Touring further afield provides a wealth of opportunities to learn about Viking and subsequent Norwegian history. This is a special home in a great place and Lars and Ranveig were flawless hosts/guests. Prior to the swap communication was friendly and useful, and this ensured a stress free start to the holiday. The home was immaculate on our arrival. We loved the view over the fjord- on sunny mornings especially the view was spectacular as the sun reflected over the water. The home is very well appointed, spacious and is a super place to relax. Asgardstrand itself is a charming place by the sea. We loved strolling down to the shore of the fjord and jumping in for a swim. We also particularly enjoyed the nearby town of Tonsberg as a place to wander around. Anyone interested in visiting Norway would have a great time in this location and would, I am sure, find Lars and Ranveig brilliant people to exchange with.

We can only say that everything was perfect and we really enjoyed the stay in Norway. Our hosts had even taken the efforts of preparing their flat for our 2-year-old even though their own kids had left that stage years back. We can only recommend this family for further exchanges. The house itself is ideal for spending a lovely time in a village and at beaches but not too far from loads of locations to explore in Norway. Many thanks!
