  This was a very pleasant exchange for us. Philippe and Armelle were very easy to communicate with – in French and in English. They have a lovely apartment that looks out over the English Channel. It was so pleasant to watch the tides and the many sailboats in the harbor, as well as the students in the sailing school. Their apartment is a 5-minute walk to cafés, restaurants, and grocery stores in Granville. There are many hikes along the coast, several with great views of Mont Saint-Michel. Bayeux and the Normandy landing beaches of Canada, Great Britain and the United States are within 2 hours by car.

  We received a very warm welcome with a lot of typical foods (cheeses) and drinks in the refrigerator. So many that we didn't really 'dared' to consume them! Very nice appartment wich overlooks the sea. We were there on a very special 'mission' and it was really a good base. Nice town too, nice café's and close to Mt St Michel and St Malo.
