Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We are looking for an exchange in the USA or in Asia for summer 2012 during 3 weeks (from 14/07/12 to 04/08/12). We prefer a big city.
Our situation
Our home is approximately 15min from the center of Geneva in a town called Saint-Julien-en-Genevois in the department of Haute-Savoie. It is possible to go to Geneva by bus. It will take 10 minutes more. A bus station is located at 4min walk from home. Our home is close to shops (pharmacy, bakery, newsagents, shops, cinema etc). We are near Annecy (the French city candidate for the organization of the Winter Olympics), near Geneva, near the French Alps (Chamonix Mont-Blanc, Meg

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We are living in a very quiet residential area. There is no noise because our building is located next to an agricultural land. You can walk to downtown Saint-Julien-en-Genevois vey easily (10 min) or by car with all the necessary shops for everyday life. Our building has an outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court (open in April)! A beautiful bike path passing through Swiss vineyards is 100 meters from the building.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
The nearest hobbies include a movie theatre and a water sports center called Vitam'Parc (slides, pool, jacuzzi ..) 10 minutes by car.
The city of Geneva is 15 minutes by car or bus (bus stop 200 meters from the apartment). The city has a large number of museums and cultural events.
Ski resorts are also available from one to two hours from our apartment (Chamonix, Megeve, La Clusaz. or other very famous resorts (Tignes, Val d'Isère) are 2h45 from us by car.
You can also visit Lyon (1h30) and Annecy (30 min), falous for its lake and its historical center.
Italy and the Aosta Valley are only 1h30 by car, via the Mont Blanc tunnel.
