We want to come back!
We had a wonderful fortnight staying in Trishes and Petes cosy home. Lots of nice villages and old churches to see and photograph. Although Norfolk is a rather flat county (not as flat as Bruges :-) we enjoyed the scenery. I miss cooking with a view, as Gina misses doing the dishes with a view, and Pippa, our saucage dog, misses the extensive garden and the view on the cows. Pity we only saw the deer, behind the garden the first 2 days. We were lucky it only rained at night (as it should :-) Southwold is a real charming seaside town. And Blues on the Farm Festival (at Clinks Care Farm) was a great tip from Pete, we really enjoyed it! If you want to exchange again with us… please don’t hesitate. Thank you, Michel, Gina en Pippa
Loving the tranquility of Norfolk
It’s been a pleasure to loiter in Trish and Pete’s cozy cottage We greatly appreciated the relaxed sun-filled sitting room and terrace in the evenings - watching the development of stunning sunsets was very atmospheric. A comfortable bed and great shower in the en-suite meant deep sleeps and refreshing wakenings. The house was an ideal jumping off point for soothing side trips to the coast as well as the city of Norwich including the fascinating “History of Norwich” Museum & the Picasso exhibition at the University. The Broads tour from Wroxham was an attractive morning trip. Further afield we appreciated catching a concert at the Aldeburgh music festival. Ideal location for exploring Norfolk
We had a great week, lots of walking and interesting places to explore. Highlights included Sutton Hoo, a walk around Horsey, with the seals on the beach, along the coast at Southwold, and walks along the river at Beccles, and Reedham. A great exchange, thanks Trish and Pete for taking care of our home, and our hens!
We had an amazing time in their home
We have a brilliant holiday in Trish and Pete's wonderful home and their spectacular garden and terrace with ponds, streams, wildlife and their fab swimming pool which was a total hit with the kids. This part of the world was new to us and their were so many places to explore, great beaches, day trips, and tonnes of recommended things to do in their home pack. We would recommend this as a great swap to anyone. Thanks loads.

Great home in an amazing location!
Really great exchange. Home is in a wonderful location and so many things to do locally, you really are spoilt for choice. Weather was fabulous which meant we could really enjoy the garden and surrounding countryside. Trish and Pete made us feel really welcome.
Cosy cottage, with lovely garden and view
Good village location with local community shops and walks nearby. We visited the Norfolk Broads and Norfolk and Suffolk coastal towns. We also enjoyed Norwich which had a good mixture of historic parts and a range of independent and big brand shopping. An ideal exchange.
Our stay was a very pleasant experience
The hosts welcomed us warmly, took care of all our needs and treated us wonderfully. The house is well located for beautiful excursions and seeing very different landscapes and beautiful cities. We found more friends than hosts
