My name is Claudia, I was born in Italy and I have been living in Spain for 15 years. I am a psychologist and I work for Save the Children, i am 43. My partner is Juan, he is 44. He is from Madrid and works as a teacher. We are happy persons, curious and adventurous. We have three beautiful children, one boy (Niicolás, 14) and two girls (Luna,11 and Naira, 7). I love sport, my favourite is swimming. We also like the mountains, I was born in the Alps, so sometimes we take our kids to ski and to practice winter sports.
We live in a small town close to the mountains, 40 minutes away from Madrid center. It is such a natural place where kids can freely play in the fields with little pollution and a lot of free space. We share time with friends and we collaborated in local association called "la Maraña" dedicated to different aspects of culture and community development. Our children practice sports, play music and spend a lot of time with their friends, they like to read and watch movies. In summer usually we go to Italy to the beach and to the Alps, but also we take family's trip to get to know new places and interesting people of the world.

Beskrivelse af vores byttebolig
Beautiful flat with good views to the mountains of Madrid. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, one big living room and a small kitchen. It's very quiet. It is located 35 km from Madrid in a little town surrounded by nature. There are a lot of areas for children to enjoy with your sons and daughters. There are also two comunity swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, and a paddle field. From the house you can see a lot of birds like vultures or eagles. It's a perfect place to come with family or to enjoy quiet holidays. It's also a perfect location to visit Madrid and the cities around, like Toledo, Segovia or Avila. We have a very beautiful cat and you can also enjoy with him.

Our neighbourhood is very quiet and friendly. There are a lot of areas for children, and the people are really nice. There are beautiful routes for walking or running in nature. Also you can go cycling. There is a theatre in the town and a lots of restaurants where you can try typical spanish food, called "tapas".

From the house you can walk to the fields, and visit the Sierra Guadarrama National Park where the house is located. You can also make a beautiful bycicle route. If you like hiking there are a lot of places near the house where you can practice this sport. The town is little, but very typical. There are a lot of restaurants where you can enjoy the Spanish food, and bars where you can see the Madrid culture. From here you can visit very important cities like Segovia, or Toledo. The distance to Madrid is 35 km and Hoyo de Manzanares has a bus to the city every 30 minutes, the bus stop is near the house. There is a train statión in Torrelodones and Las Matas, you must go by car, it is far 10 minutes from the town.

It's important to take care of the house and don't break anything. It's important not to make noise after 23 in the night and before 8 in the morning. You have to clean the house before leaving and keep it tidy. You can use the children´s toys, but you have to take care of them. You also have to take care of Sandokan, our cat.
