  We’ve had a wonderful time in Nottinghamshire. The house is beautiful and very comfortable, and ideally located. We were able to walk to the lovely centre of West Bridgford and all the commodities, and the vibrant centre of Nottingham was only a 10 minute bus ride, from which another short bus ride would take us to the stunning Wollaton Hall and Deer Park. Our daughters enjoyed the many playgrounds in West Bridgford and the beautiful riverside of the Trent River made for delightful walks. We loved the picturesque hills and villages of the nearby Peak District, the gorgeous houses and peaceful landscaped parks, and we’ve even been able to go North to York and the amazing North Yorkshire moors and coasts. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

  Lovely house in a Interesting area, easy access to Nottingham centre by bus, and in a good spot for visiting historical sites.

  We liked to explore Nottingham and surroundings. The town is interesting and the house in near river Trend and football/cricket stadions. We felt like citizens in stead of tourists! Two boys,18 years loved to explore the "metal-scene" of Nottingham. They met really interesting people and musicians. All around the town are interesting places. And we loved to walk in the Peakdistrict. The house was large, many rooms! And comfortable!

  Dear Angie and Richard, thanks for a perfect home-exchange! Wir haben uns sofort in eurem schönen großen viktorianischen Haus wohlgefühlt. Alles war bei unserer Ankunft für uns gerichtet. Danke für den lieben Willkommensgruß und den gefüllten Kühlschrank. Nottingham und Umgebung bietet unglaubliche viele tolle Ausflüge. So waren wir im Peak District und haben uns das bekannte Chatsworth House angesehen. Ein anderer Ausflug führte uns nach Lincoln. Ein wahrer Geheimtipp ist Belvoir Castle mit den schönen Gärten. Das herrliche Wetter haben wir in eurem Garten genossen und auch im Park von Wollaton Hall. Nach Nottingham ins Stadtzentrum sind wir mit dem Bus gefahren, der direkt vorm Haus abfährt. We really enjoyed our time in Nottingham! Angie and Richard and their little boys and cat Lulu are perfect hosts. Herzliche Grüße Ulrike, Frank und Emilie
