It is a nice and friendly neighbourhood with lovely neighbours all around. It has local parks, all shopping, public swimming pool etc within walking distance. You can go into Wellington city either by rail, bus or drive within about 30-40 minutes. On hot days you can swim in the local river or enjoy fishing there. There are bike trails and local walks in the bushland area.
