From the Chalet, short walk to the www.laberra.ch snow, trekking and descent mountain bike resort. A restaurant is as well part of the infrastructure.
At 5 kilometer, you will find the La Roche village with other restaurant, 2 supermarkets and a cheese diary with, of course, Gruyère, Vacherin and everything what is needed for a "Fondue moitié, moitié". Village is near the Lac de Gruyères, articificial lake perfekt for swimming, kayaking, etc.
The well known Gruyère Village, (castle etc) is 20 km away, the Cailler chocolate frabic in Broc, Bulle, Charmey and Fribourg are in the near area as well.
Vevey (Chaplin museum) is 45 km, Montreux and Lausanne come more km away.
The city of Bern is about 60 km away, so the place is really central to visit some of the best places in Switzerland
