We live in the very centre of the city, opposite the town hall. The market is very quiet at night, but within one minute's walk you have a big choice of restaurants, bars and theatres. Grocery shops around the corner. This is Amsterdam at its best.

From the rear window of our appartment we look into Rembrandt's backgarden. The Rembrandt House, the Jewish Museum, the old Portuguese Synagoge, the Hermitage Museum and the Botanical Garden are all less than 300 m from our place. You can cross the city centre in 15 minutes to every other museum. There is a metro every 3 minutes to the train and bus station for trips outside Amsterdam.
