Our main home is situated by the south coast of Norway, with easy access to the archipelag and the sea by boat. The environment is calm, during winter, and bursting with life during the summer season. Thre are a number of small, wooden, traditional towns nearby; Lyngør (2 kilometres, by boat) Tvedestrand (17 kilometres), Risør.

We also have an old, small, farm - "Lislero", appr. 3 hours driving north from the coast. Lislero is an old, traditional farm with all together 7 farming houses, built during the 18. and 19. century. Lislero had been standing empty since 1968, when we bought the place in 2012, and started restouring both the buildings and the cultural landscape. The area (Hjartdal / Svartdal) is a stronghold of traditional Norwegian, rural cultureand is acknowlegded for its special cultural landscape, shaped thorugh ages of small scale agriculture, herding and a life style closely connected with the natural resources and the rhytm of the seasons.
