We are a Belgian family living in Rabat, Morocco (for one year).
My wife is working in international cooperation and I do documentary films.
We have 2 lovely daughters (Dalia & Maya, 10 and 13 years old).
We love discover other countries, other cities, other people, other cultures…
We are living in the African continent for 14 years…
We have an old medium cool dog staying at home, but neighbors are taking care of him for eating and having walk ;)

Semtimiz ve çevremiz hakkinda
As brillant capital of the kingdom, Rabat is a nice place to discover and explore Morocco. In front of the ocean, with historic places and impressive modern projects the city gives a good urban mix reflecting the development of this emerging country. Our neighborhood is trendy but our street is quiet enough. You can have safety walk around, even by night. There is a lot of trendy shops (clothes, organic, jewelry,…) and good affordable restaurants around (sushis, couscous, Indian, French gourmet or bakeries, pizzas,…)
Cabs (taxis) and the new tramway are very practical and cheap.
It is very easy to reach the old city (Medina) and all the museum / cultural area (
The beautiful old city (medina with souks and fortress) and the Art Deco area “called quartier Hassan” (Museum of Modern Art, cinemas + French, Spanish, Italian and German Cultural centers are also 10’ by cab or tramway).
Seaside is also not very far (about 10 minutes by cab).
There is non-far railways station for where you can reach Casablanca (1h, South of Rabat), the charming little see-sight city called “Assilah” (2h North of Rabat).
