Wir waren 10 Tage zu Gast in einem schönen Reihenhaus in Vancouver (UBC area) und haben uns dort sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus hatte ein super gutes modernes technisches Equipment welches wir von zu Hause aus nicht kennen. Sehr gut und hilfreich war der tolle BBQ auf der Terrasse welchen wir gerne und häufig benutzt haben. Das Areal drumherum ist sehr schön angelegt, gar nicht so großstättisch und in wenigen Minuten ist man mit dem Auto am äußerst tollen Sandstrand. Die Kommunikation mit den Tauschpartnern verlief einwandfrei und war sehr angenehm. Leider haben wir uns nicht persönlich kennengelernt.

We live in a 2-level, 3-bedroom townhouse with 2.5 bathrooms. All bedrooms are located on the upper level. The master bedroom has a queen bed and adjacent full bathroom (including shower/bathtub). The other two bedrooms each have a double bed. A second full bathroom (shower in bathtub) is located on the upper level. The main level is an open plan with a well equipped kitchen, adjacent eating area, living room, and half-bath (toilet and sink). We also have a lovely private patio/garden area with a BBQ and patio table (seating for 4) with umbrella for eating and relaxing outdoors. Our home has all modern conveniences and is clean and comfortable. Our home and the surrounding premises are non-smoking. We have 4 bicycles for use, but even if they do not suit your style or needs, there are two different bike rental shops located nearby (within walking distance). We also have a 2011 Subaru Outback that may be possible for exchange. We have two cats but they will be boarded elsewhere.

We live on the campus of The University of British Columbia, located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We are within walking distance of the ocean, beaches, forest, and many amenities including swimming pool, tennis courts, skating rinks, museums, botanical gardens, playgrounds, and a local shopping area. Public transportation is conveniently located. Our community is quiet and our neighbours are very lovely and helpful. There are many opportunities for outdoor excursions (such as kayaking, hiking) in and around Vancouver. For additional getaways, we are approximately 2 hours from Whistler and 3 hours from Victoria (via ferry).
