We enjoyed another long weekend at Jo-Anne & Doug’s large, but very cosy, beach house. The weather was mild for the middle of December but it would not have mattered it had rained… we were so comfortable. We had our Westie, Lily, with us and she loved time on the beach and romps around the property.

Yes indeed… another highly successful exchange with Jo-Anne & Doug at Miracle Beach. We love our time there and always find interesting excursions. Many thanks!

Well done Jo-Anne and Doug. Not only did you make your home available at very short notice but you were wonderfully warm and welcoming at every step of the way. You have a super home in a lovely location. We are looking forward to welcoming you to Ireland.

Jo-Anne & Doug have a very comfortable home situated on the beach front… it was wonderful to gaze at the ocean… relaxing at a window, standing on the deck, or sitting in chairs at the beach edge. Inside is everything one needs for a perfect getaway. This was our second exchange with Jo-Anne & Doug… the first being in December with snow on the ground.

Many thanks for this winter exchange… had a wonderful stay in your home. Although it was cold & snowy outside, we were warm & cozy nestled inside! Enjoyed watching life outdoors… seals, deer, birds were especially enjoyed by our wee westie.

We had a lovely long weekend at Jo-Anne and Doug’s house. Their home is so spacious and had everything we could wish for, very welcoming, with cozy fireplace in the living room and hot tub on the outside deck - add to that the amazing water views and perfect location right near provincial park. Jo-Anne and Doug, thanks so much, hopefully we can do it again sometime!

Jo-Anne and Doug were wonderful hosts to us - they met us from the bus (2 cars needed!) They gave us a great evening meal to welcome us and meet their neighbours. The hospitality they gave us was outstanding and we really appreciated it. They live in a wonderful location - we loved watching the cruise ships go by while sitting around an outdoor fire in the evenings - bliss.

We enjoyed several July days in this spacious home with lawns down to the beach, and beyond, a view of the Coast Range of mountains. We had some wonderful walks and terrific night skies. This home provides a delightful experience of Vancouver Island living and we highly recommend it to other HomeLink members.

Jo-Anne and Doug made our stay very special and very comfortable. We were traveling with our daughter who was 6 months old; they helped get things ready in their home that made it much easier for us - high chair, cot and lots of books and toys. Their home was very comfortable and had lots of space. All facilities were provided and even a hot tub to enjoy views of the sea. There were kayaks and bikes too which were really handy. Jo-Anne was all ways quick to respond with communications and made our first exchange experience very smooth and easy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay in their home at Miracle Beach its in a beautiful setting.

Thank you for that lovely exchange. We really did get a chance to relax, enjoy the beach and the wildlife. We had deer in the garden, eagles in the trees, and a heron on the beach. And to fully relax, we had a hot tub! It was all a far cry from the hustle and bustle of the city of Vancouver and it was just what we needed . Regards Bryan & Margie
