We enjoyed very much our stay in Amsterdam at Madelon's place. It's perfectly located, close to public transport and city center in a quiet and agreeable neighbourhood. Madelon's house is a lovely, restful place and Madelon is a perfect and welcoming host. We appreciated in particular the transport cards and the museum cards. The two of us had a wonderful time in Amsterdam and in Madelon's very hospitable home. The peaceful nearly village-like neighborhood, though very central and perfectly situated to explore the city and its channels by foot and public transports, combines with an intimate, meditative interior to where you are eager to recollect after the day's excursions and excitements. Everything went well, we have been generously received by Madelon's friend Claire who introduced us to the 2 level apartment where from the bedroom in the upper floor you can have a glimpse to a large channel. Very helpful then was the logistical support for public transport and the museums with access cards and maps. Communication with Madelon was always swift, reliable and accepting. Amsterdam, first time for us, would not have been such a rich experience without Madelon's home.

We love the Bickers Island, old part of Amsterdam, but very quiet. It is just some minutes walk to the thrilling center of the city. With local transport you can reach all the highlights. Tip: rent a bike at the station for just 3,95 and you feel like a Amsterdammer. Thank you Madelon for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay in Madelon's home. The surrounding was interesting, a little bit like staying on a island. We could walk to the center of Amsterdam and it was good to come home again in the peaceful place. We are in contact and will surely make one more exchange. Maddelon's house is located in a small neighborhood that perfectly sums up the most authentic Amsterdam, close to the always lively and endearing Jordan. The house is spacious and very well-conditioned, also very quiet and bright, ideal for resting after the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Good public transport is available nearby. Maddelon recommended us unforgettable local experiences, such as buying bread from a street vendor on a bridge near his house. As soon as you want to return to Badalona, don't hesitate to contact us.
