Our duplex is ideally located downtown Santiago, in the municipality of Providencia. Its central location allows to move around walking, cycling (cycle paths and free bike system) and by public transportation (subway and bus): the Baquedano underground station (lines 1 and 5) is 2-minute away walking, and there is a great deal of bus lines nearby.
Next to numerous parks (Bustamante, Forestal, Balmaceda and ParqueMet), restaurants, bars, museums (Bellas Artes, Artes Visuales, Arte Contemporáneo, Violeta Parra, etc.), cultural centers (GAM) and theatres (Teatro de la Universidad de Chile, theatres in Bellavista).
The San Cristobal hill is a 10-minute walk, just across the Mapocho river: it is a huge metropolitan park (700 hectares) with walking and cycling trails, funicular (National Heritage), cable car, Japanese garden, public pools (in the summer), zoo, adventure park (all ages), playgrounds and picnic areas. It is the world's fourth largest urban park.
