We truely enjoyed our stay at Alice's apartment who ensured a warm welcome. So did their family cat Phoebe. Her flat is situated in a really pleasant district which is nearby all hotspots of the city due to an underground station around the corner. We'd love to come back one day.

Dag Inga, je ziet- ik heb het niet hard willen spelen die dagen. Maar bij een volgende ruil zou ik wel tien keer uitkijken. Onze Barcelona ruil in 2018 was een betrekkelijk succes..er was een zeer luidruchtig jaarlijks buurtfestival gaande tot ver na middernacht (techno muziek). Dit werd na de bomaanslag in de metro afgelast, dat was dan nog een gelukje. In die dagen werd een keer gebeld en ik nam op. 'O ja,' zei de dame, ' natuurlijk, ze zijn altijd weg in deze week'.. zo teleurstellend was dat. Inmiddels zijn zij niet meer geregistreerd. Mocht dit vaker voorkomen, dan zou het een afweging zijn om de richtlijnen hierover wat scherper te stellen. Met vriendelijke groet, Mirjam Hoijtink

It was big fun to go out of the house an be in the mid of Fiesta major de Gracia, a wonderful August festivity with lots of fantastic decorated streets, bands, food, drinks and a huge enthusiastic crowd! Barcelona is so versatile, and we really enjoyed our 12 days stay with strolls in the Barri Gothic, Montjuic, Parc Guell ..., with the beaches, the museums, Gaudi architecture, food, and great weather.
