We are a family of 4: Brian (English), Sophie (Belgian), Matthew and Eva. We speak french and english at home. Brian also speaks spanish, Sophie also speaks dutch.

We have done 17 home exchanges (11 with Homelink and 6 with Intervac), in France, England, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Canada.
We are open to exchanges during school holidays.

Dear Sophie and Brian we definitely had a great time in our 2 weeks in your house in Brussels. Lovely neighbourhood, with everything we needed, and just too close to the Underground. And a perfect place to start our daily trips to the rest of Belgium (Gand, Bruges, Antwerpen, Dinant, Technopolis... you name it). A lot of toys and books for our children and a lovely garden to chill out enjoying the cool weather. Thanks again!

Degisim için önerdigimiz ev hakkinda

Our house is situated in the pleasant neighbourhood of Stockel on the eastern side of Brussels.
The house has 3 floors plus a cellar and a garden. It has a living room, dining room and kitchen on the ground floor, one bedroom, an office and a bathroom on the 1st floor, 2 bedrooms and a shower room on the 2nd floor.
We have a good selection of books, board games, toys, and also some wii games to keep you entertained if you want to relax at home.
The garden is south facing and there is a wooden deck and wooden garden furniture. When the weather is nice we hang the hammock.
We have very friendliy neighbours.

We live on the edge of Brussels in the pleasant neighbourhood known as Stockel. Within walking distance you will find restaurants, playgrounds, parks, a small local cinema, a very good selection of shops and an outdoor market (3 times a week).
In the neighboirhood you will hear many different languages as we are not far away from the european quarters.
We are just next to a metro station and the Brussels center is 20 minutes away by metro. The Brussels Ring (Junction 2) is only a short drive away (approx 1 mile/1.5 km) while the airport is a short taxi ride away (approx 25 Euros).

In Brussels there is something for every taste : marvelous architecture, fine art, museums, parks, the Atomium, beer, fantastic food, chocolate, shopping…

In less than 2 hours (by car or by train) you can almost reach any part of Belgium such as Bruges, Antwerp, Ghent or Namur. Paris, London, Amsterdam and Köln are also a short train ride away

We are quite open to offers from anyone, but we love to exchange with families having children with similar ages as ours. We don't mind at all caring for your pets at your house ( so far we took care of many cats, rabbits, chickens, exotic fish and turtles). Unfortunately we cannot change our car any more, but you car very well spend several weeks here without needing a car.
