The apartment is on the corner of a lively city square with several cafes and restaurants. Also the Antwerp central library is on this square. We don't use here a car. We use our bicycles or the public transport. The apartment is well isolated, so you don't hear much of the city noise that can also be there at night. The main bedroom is on the backside of the apartment where there is no street noise. There are two bicycles parked in the cellar. You can park your car easily in a nearby building.

The opera, concert hall, and Antwerp zoo are all within a 10 minutes walk. This also goes for the central station where there are direct trains to the Brussels airport, to Brussels, Bruges, Gent and numerous other destinations. This central station is chosen as one of the most beautiful of Europe.
Antwerp has tens of beautiful museums such as the Rubenshouse and the MAS. Antwerp is famous for fashion, so there are many fancy shops. There are restaurants from all over the world. Especially in the nearby Van Wesenbekestraat, the Antwerp "chinatown."
