Retired with interests in the outdoors, arts, local foods and culture, theater, opera. We often travel with another couple. Anita is German-American and loves to return to Germany where she can visit with friends and family. Also very interested in Austria and France, especially Brittany, possibly also other locations in Europe. Prefer to travel in the summer, or December and January but non simultaneous exchanges possible. Looking for Berlin area December. Also open to shorter getaways in US -- including Manhattan, Savannah, Charlestown, Hilton Head. My house in Florida is available May through October and possibly around Christmastime. A week or two in Germany at Christmas-time would be very desirable. I am offering a house with several bedrooms and bathrooms and would like the same in exchange. Open to car exchange.

Three bedroom, three bath, air-conditioned pool home near beautiful white-sand Gulf beaches, downtown, shopping, cultural attractions. Modern and well equipped. Large outdoor area with gardens, citrus trees, six-person hot tub. Covered indoor-outdoor lanai. Enclosed thirty foot heated pool and large private backyard area. Lanai has pull-out sofa sleeping two persons.

Sarasota is known for cultural attractions including Sarasota Opera, symphony, ballet, eight live theaters, museums, aquarium, and many natural attractions. Our favorites include kayaking in the mangrove tunnels on Lido Key. Wonderful shopping nearby, both food and clothing, and many farmers markets and arts/crafts markets.

We especially strive to keep the swimming pool very clean. We request that you not bring beach sand, or wear suntan lotion and body lotions in the pool or hot tub and appreciate your showering before entering the pool and hot tub. Please do not track dirt from the garden into the house. We have a cat who may need care, to be arranged. Currently looking for multi-week exchanges in Europe for summer 2023. A week or long weekends in US also welcome.
