Our home sits on a large lot surrounded by foliage, a natural, drought-resistant garden, on a quiet cul-du-sac with friendly families and children of all ages. The beaches in our north coast area are some of the finest surfing and swimming
beaches in Southern California, and our home is about a ten-minute walk to the nearest beach. The music room and study may be accommodated for sleeping rooms if necessary.
San Diego has alluring tourist attractions such as the world-famous San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park; Legoland (very near our home); Sea World; Balboa Park; Torrey Pines Reserve; Cultural attractions such as the Old Globe Theatre; La Jolla Playhouse; San Diego Repertory Theatre; Moonlight Amphitheatre Summer Theatre (Vista); Summerfest Musical Festival (La Jolla); and others.

Our neighborhood is extremely friendly, with special festivities at Halloween, Chrisjtmas, the Fourth of July, cappaccino parties involving the surrounding streets. We are close to the beach, about a ten-minute walk from our house. Since we are on a cul-de-sac, it is very quiet and peaceful. Most of the people who live in this area share the same aesthetic of quiet and love of nature.

The Mainstreet in Encinitas is a wonderful gathering spot with lovely restaurants, shops, a movie theatre. In Leucadia, the Pannikin Coffee House is a special place for meetings and hanging out-----wonderful coffee, pastries, a true landmark in our beach town. LegoLand is a short drive in the town of Carlsbad, and 100 miles to the north is Disneyland, Los Angeles with its many cultural sites---Disney Concert Hall, the Broad Museum, the County Museum of Art, MOMA, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and much more. San Diego is about a thirty minute drive south from our home with the famous Balboa Park and Zoo, the Old Globe Theatre, Old Town, Embarcadero, Horton Plaza for great shopping and more.
