We are a family of 5: Timo (49), Brigitta (46), Luise (15), Friederike (13), Karl (9). We live with a cat and we keep honey bees in the garden. We do not own a car. Timo is a professor at a private university, Brigitta works as legal adviser for a public trust. The kids go to school.

25 min to Berlin City Center (Alexanderplatz) by suburban railway (S-Bahn), food store just around the corner, supermarkets (Mon-Sat) 1 km, black-and-white cat, large countryside garden with bee hives, large terrace with solar panel, 3 floors, perfect for kids. 5 bicycles.

Our place is perfect for exploring Berlin by public transport or even by bike if you like and if you are not afraid of heavy traffic. If you need to rest from exploration you may go to the playground with the kids or walk through the "Gärten der Welt" or the recreational area Wuhletal. You may as well stay at home, relax on our terrace and watch the honey bees drinking nectar from garden flowers. We leave the public transport tickets for you; they entitle 2 grown ups to travel inside Zone A+B, which covers complete Berlin City area.

Please leave the house in the same condition in which you enter it. If anything gets broken or damaged, please let us know. Alway lock the door and close all windows when you leave the house. Do not forget to fasten on the bikes when you leave them unattended. Since we need them for daily use they are very precious for us. The cat is allowed to go in every room except for the 2nd floor guest rooms.
