Our neighbourhood is characterized by a mix of families, young and elderly people of different backgrounds as well as crafts and small businesses. Our direct neighbours are foremost families with young kids and teens as well as friendly people in their 30s and 40s. There is a sandbox in our courtyard - perfect for small kids. We live in a non-touristic area with few but charming cafés and some restaurants. You find diverse supermarkets and little shops nearby. In walking distance you reach several playgrounds in the neighbourhood as well as the park Volkspark Friedrichshain.
