We've had a great exchange with Michael and Sabrina. Their home was very comfortable with an impressive amount of books and many cosy corners for reading with a cup of tea. Their street is on the border of two vibrant neighbourhoods, Prenzlauer Berg and Friedrichshain, both lovely to explore on foot with many restaurants, cafés, independent shops and street markets. It was a perfect location for us. The communication with Michael was easy. They gave us many useful tips and made sure we felt welcome. They also looked after our home with care. All together, it was a very positive experience.

The house was cosy and very comfortable. Public transportation is nearby and very efficient. We enjoyed friendly and pleasant contact with our losts before and during our two week stay. They were very helpful in planning our visit of the city. Berlin in October was magnificent. Michael, you made our visit in Berlin memorable.

Sabrina und Michael haben eine sehr schöne Wohnung, die sehr zentral gelegen ist. Mit dem Fahrrad kann man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten gut von dort erreichen. Wir verbrachten einige schöne Tage dort. Leider war unsere Zeit so knapp, dass wir ihren liebevoll bepflanzten und eingerichteten Balkon gar nicht ausgiebig genießen konnten. Vielen Dank für alles ! Für 8 Tage ist diese schöne typische Berliner Altbauwohnung unser zweites Zuhause gewesen, sehr ruhig 3 min fußläufig zum Volkspark Friedrichshain gelegen mit exzellenter Verkehrsanbindung, vielen Geschäften und kleinen Restaurants in der Nãhe. Innerhalb weniger Minuten waren wir am Alex und haben diesmal wieder ganz viele neue Eindrücke von Berlin gewonnen. Der Kontakt war supernett und wir kommen sehr gerne noch einmal wieder zu euch. Vielen Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft und danke, dass ihr unser Haus in einem tadellosen Zustand hinterlassen habt.

The location makes for an ideal base to explore the city which has so much to offer. And finally, when we returned to our own home, they had taken great care of our apartment.

Our home is a spacious 2 bedroom flat at the first floor in central Berlin. We live very close centre (East - Alexanderplatz) of Berlin and can go shortly by bus and Tram to most of the popular attractions.
Our second bedroom is set up as a child's bedroom with a Kingsize bed. Although a children's library on the top at the loft bed.

We live in a popular area of Berlin (Prenzlauer Berg) with local restaurants, bars and shops very close by. We have a large park on our doorstep with play areas for children, tennis courts, running track, beach volleyball, Boulder area, open air cinema and cafes. We are within walking distance of the heart of Berlin with buses and Tram available to all attractions.

As well as the local area, Berlin is a fantastic, historical city with thousands of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. There are theatres, cinemas and galleries also in large numbers.
If you wish to travel further, Much of the space around is easily accessible for day trips -Potsdam, Hamburg, Dresden, Weimar, Baltic Sea - and almost the whole country can be accessed if you wish to stay over a day or two.
