The bungalow is in a quiet close in Puckpool, between Ryde and Seaview, and is lovely and light with its own drive and parking. More photos to follow. There are beautiful sea views of the Solent and sun rises with a sunny garden, front and back. We have lots of birds, woodpeckers, robins, blue tits and blackbirds and a family of red squirrels who run around our huge oak tree, which we've called Rupert. It's been newly painted and carpeted and has a lovely new super comfortable king size bed, a second bedroom with a chair bed and a small double sofa bed. It's in a good position near Appley beach, walks, cycling, pubs, restaurants, bus station, and train station. Buses 8 and 3 are close by. The walk to the beach is easy going down but be prepared for the walk going back up. You can walk along the new pier walkway and watch sun set and the Hovercraft coming in. It has Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, an Alexa speaker, beach chairs, towels, mats and picnic bits for the lovely soft golden sand. There is always lots going on on the island. The closest car ferry is Wightlink to Fishbourne from Portsmouth (40 minutes), which is 10 minutes drive to the bungalow. You can also get a Red Funnel ferry from Southampton to East Cowes (1 hour), which is 20 minutes drive. Red Funnel gives better ferry prices and I may be able to get you some discount codes. You can get a train to Portsmouth and then either a Fastcat (22 minutes) or Hovercraft (8 minutes) to Ryde. The Isle of Wight is a great place to visit with lovely country walks, pretty villages and lots to do. It has beautiful light, sun rises and sun sets - it's a place people fall in love with, and I hope you will too.
