We are an active retired couple with two children and twelve grandchildren. We sometimes like to take holidays with our son and his family (2 children). David is interested in astronomy and anything technical. Valerie likes walking and bird watching. Fairlight is a good place for our hobbies.

We enjoyed our stay in this large very well kept home. The views of the English channel from the kitchen, and bedroom windows were absolutely beautiful. We also enjoyed all the historic areas around Fairlight, we visited many castles, that were a short drive away. This was our first exchange, and thanks to our exchange partners it went very smoothly, and along the way we made wonderful friends.

We prefer for exchange guests to use just our two guest rooms to avoid the stress of having to change beds, empty drawers and wardrobes, and clean as we leave home. A sign of our age I'm afraid! Both guest rooms have sea views and our main guest room has a king sized bed that is very comfortable. The second room has twin beds. Two bathrooms will be available, one with a bath and bidet and the other with a shower.
