This part of Spain was not on our bucket list, but it certainly should have been. Three weeks wasn't nearly enough time to explore all of the interesting locations within a short drive of Nieves' very comfortable place. The white towns including Veher, Ronda, Arcos, Conil, Grazalema and others were wonderful. Sevilla, with it's incredible cathedral and unbelievable tapas bars was a true highlight. We were able to do a two day trip to Tangier and can't wait to get back to Morocco. The Roman bridge and coliseum in Merida were awe inspiring. The food everywhere was fantastic. Seaside towns of Barbate, Zahara and Tarifa were perfect places to relax, spend a few hours at the beach or do a short hike to an amazing overlook. And La Barossa, just a couple of kilometres away, is one of the most amazing beaches we've seen. We flew in and out of Lisbon, so we managed a couple days there too - fantastic! Easily one of the best vacations we've ever had!

This was our first exchange and it went perfectly. We had everything we wanted, the weather was perfect and we enjoyed a part of Spain that I had not been to and my partner had only visited briefly. There's a lot to see, Cadiz, Jerez, Sevilla. Some fabulous beaches and great sunsets.

We had a wonderful time staying with Nieves and Raul and even had the pleasure of returning to see them once again this year. Chiclana is now one of our favoured European destinations with wonderful restaurants, beaches and people. The flat is very comfortable and has a wonderful pool for children to swim in - and even a life guard to keep them safe in the water. Some of the best beaches in Europe (in my opinion!) are a short 5 min drive away which is great for the morning, then the afternoon can be spent by the pool. Nieves and Raul were so welcoming and bought some wonderful gifts for our children. They left our house spotless and plants watered and happy. I would highly commend them as exchangers.
