The Priorat wine region is close by. The Ebro river is a a popular catfish fishing place. Kilometers of pathways and quiet roads allow for beautiful, year round hikes and cycling. Other visits include the Gandesa Civil War Museum, the wine cooperative cellars at Gandesa and El Pinell de Brai, the templar's castle at Miravet, the Picasso Museum at Horta de Sant Joan, the roman aqueduct and relics at Tarragona, medieval cities at Amposta and Tortosa, etc.
