The apartment is our second residence and is ideal for the Swiss and French alps both in summer and winter. The views from the living room and bedrooms are spectacular, extending from Evian in the west around to the Valais and the Dents du Midi in the east. In front is the town of Montreux. In January 2019 we completely renovated the bathroom which now has a walk-in shower.
The famous Montreux Oberland Bahn (www.mob.ch) passes in front of the apartment with a halt 200 metres away.
There are direct trains from Montreux to Geneva Airport or you can be in Milan in less than 3 hours.
Sheltered from the north by the Col de Jarman, Montreux enjoys a mild micro climate as part of the Swiss Riviera.
Nevertheless, skiing is available less than half an hour away.
In May the fields are covered in narcisus and the beginning of July sees the jazz festival where you can mix with the legends of Pop and RnB. http://www.montreuxriviera.com/en/

We have a Tiguan automatic car. Within an hour's drive you can reach Bern, Geneva or into the Valais.
