After retirering I settled in Portugal in the Sintra region, west of Lisbon. The airport of Lisbon is to reach in 40 car-minutes! The casa lies surrounded of the natural park Sintra and has a wonderful view to the Atlantic! It is the best place for walking, exquisit portuguese seafood kitchen, kulture, art and historic buildings.(specially: Lisbon and Sintra!
Up to 2013 I'm exploring my new country & home, therfore my interest for exchangings in foreign countries will develop in 2014! If there is interest from members of my favorite country there is a non simultaneous exchange possible for maximum two persons, because the house has only 70 squaremeters.
It is to remark, that my ground is very steep - and the ground level lies on 260 meters! For that reason I have a phantastic view to the Atlantic! Nevertheless I walk in 40 minutes to a famous beach! People who want to come here need good physical condition for the area and they have to be skilful in driving a car(if they dont't take the bus and train!), because the roads are steep and narrow! One has to love this country-conditions, otherwise it may be not the right place. Additional is to remark, that the micro-climate is very moderate - you will not sweat by high temperatures in summer - and need warm clothes for wintertime!
I own two Honda Motorbikes 125 ccm, which I offer to use for my guests. They can be driven with car driver licence!
In 2020 I´d like to make a triß through Canada from the east to west coast.
Since this year I have moved into a beautiful apartment at Berlin! It is located in a exciting central, quiet city location and is equipped for two people!
My new home will soon be described as secondary residence and provided with photos!
