We spent a great week in Ellen's and Geir's beautiful house. Everything was perfectly taken care of and we felt very comfortable. We loved picking fresh berries from the garden for our breakfast on the sunny terrasse, biking through the island and discovering the local beaches as well as biking to Oslo and discover museums and city-life. What we enjoyed most was kajaking from their private boat house around Oslo-Fjord and then relax at the water. How fantastic! Ellen and Geir could not have been more helpful, generous and welcoming. Even so our train was 6 hours late they had waited for us to pick us up from the tube station and show us around. Thank you so much, Ellen and Geir, for kajaks, bikes, the fantastic boat outing and all your help and advise! We are very much looking forward to welcoming you in our home soon!

The situation of the house is ideal, between the pleasure of nature (sea at 50 m, kayaks, swimming) and the city of Oslo accessible in 30 minutes by bus or bike (bike paths everywhere) We also spent a wonderful week in their mountain cottage, very nice in a rustic and authentic style. Last but not least, we shared some great moments with this open, generous and friendly family. One of our most successful exchanges. Thanks to Ellen and Geir !

Thanks to Ellen, Geir, Bendik, Isaak...and Gullpus the faboulous Norwegian cat we spent an awesome vacation last summer. The house is quiet, cozy and tastefully decorated. The location is wonderful : a deck on the sea just past the garden, beautiful beaches in a walking distance and though very convenient to visit Oslo (bus stop at 100m from the house). The whole family has been very friendly. We met at the beginning and end of holidays and we were constantly in touch through chat and text messaging to exchange useful tips or just to say hello. These summer holidays in Oslo were definitely one of the best exchanges we have made, and we are looking forward to coming back to discover more of Norways. Thanks dear friends !
