Oslo is amazing. If you like modern architecture, you will find many gems lined up in the city centre. On top of this there are many museums, the city itself and the fjord. If the weather permits you will find endless spots to go for a swim right in the city centre. The house is very well located to go by tram to the city centre. Beds are comfy and the kitchen is very well equipped. There is a supermarket right next to the tram station. Exchange of keys and communication were very smooth. Thanks a lot for a great stay.

We spent two weeks in Sigrun and Torvil's house and were joined for the second week by our daughter and her family. It was a great base from which to explore Oslo and the surrounding countryside. The house was comfortable, well equipped and very conveniently located to get in and out of the City by tram. Thank you for a great exchange. Ric & Sonja

We had a great holiday in Oslo. Sigrun and Torkil where still at home to welcome us when we arrived. We felt right at home and enjoyed our stay a lot. Their house is lovely and the neighbourhood is really nice. It's the perfect location to explore Oslo, it's quiet and peaceful and yet you can get to the city easily. There's a bus and tram stop just around the corner and going to the city is almost like a sightseeing tour itself! I loved the little supermarket and the bakery :-) Thank you Sigrun and Torkil for having us!

Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a wonderful time in Oslo. Your home was very clean and well organized. We enjoyed cooking in your very nice kitchen. We never needed a car with the great grocery store (Jacobs) just a short walk away. The bakery was also very good. The tram was very close and provide good access to all the sights in the city.

Location, location, location! Sigrun and Torkil's home was ideally situated for exploring Oslo. It is a 2 block walk to the tram which takes just minutes to get down town. From there it is easy and convenient to use public transportation to other parts of the city - or to explore the down town core and its many attractions by foot. Their home was comfortable, roomy, well equiped, and clean - everything you want in an exchange home. Sigrun had left food to see us through the first days of the exchange and the grocery store was a convenient short walk from the house. We enjoyed our stay in Oslo and would recommend our exchange partners to others looking to explore Scandinavia.
