Degisim için önerdigimiz ev hakkinda
Welcome to our home, situated above beautiful Tahunanui Beach in Nelson New Zealand. The house is single storey with expansive views over Tasman Bay and a 3 minute walk to Tahunanui beach. Our home was renovated in 2006, keeping the original character and style of the 1930's bungalow with modern fixtures and an open plan layout, to make the most of the view. We have added expansive decking and a spa pool to enjoy the lovely weather and views this region has to offer in both summer and winter. The location of this house means that you can enjoy a beach holiday, explore the surrounding alpine environment, or take a day trip through one of the three nearby national parks. It doesn't matter if it's summer or winter, Nelson's mild winter means the house is always warm and the aspect gives full sun year round. Furthermore, Nelson city offers a great range of restaurants, cafes, and bars, as well as galleries featuring the work of local artists. Stroll through the iconic Saturday market and sample some of the delicious items Nelson's artisans have to offer. If you are looking for a bit of adventure, hire bikes to explore the great range of mountain bike trails to suit all ages and abilities. And, if you want to really get your heart racing, book in for a quad bike tour, a horse trek, or a high ropes course at one of the local adventure parks. If this all sounds a bit fast and furious for you, don't worry - there's plenty of peace and tranquillity to be found both in our three bedroom home, and in the natural surrounds of the city. Everything is very accessible, either by foot, bike, vehicle, or bus. The house has full kitchen facilities, and a barbecue, as well as three comfortable double bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and plenty of space to accommodate anywhere from 2-6 people. We would love to home swap with you!

Semtimiz ve çevremiz hakkinda
Tahunanui is a relaxed, safe, waterfront community and only an eight minute drive to the centre of Nelson. Great access to a safe swimming beach with a variety of beach activities on offer. Excellent coffee and cafes within walking distance of home, and a few waterside restaurants. The beach is perfect for all watersports, and the 4 metre tide allows for beach walks in both winter and summer. The community here, as with most New Zealanders, is very friendly, welcoming, and always happy to answer questions about the area or life in New Zealand. The lack of high rise buildings means that the views are not obstructed from anywhere and you're never too far from nature. From our house, you can be at the beach one day, and exploring the Nelson Lakes National Park the next.

From our home it is a 3 minute walk to the beach where you can safely swim, paddle board, kite surf, and walk. We have easy access to fantastic bike trails for all ages and abilities- whether you want to commuter bike into town, bike to wineries and outlying villages or go mountain biking there is something for everyone.
Cultural attractions include the Nelson Provincial Museum, which provides an interesting history of this special region, the Suter Art Gallery boasts the talents of countless local and international artists in a range of media. It also has art-house cinema, so take in a foreign film or a forgotten classic while you're here. For the blockbusters, head to State Cinemas. Nelson also has the Southern Hemisphere's oldest wooden theatre - the Theatre Royal which puts on various amateur and professional plays, musicals, and ballets. The region also offers an art trail and plenty of individual galleries.
For the food and beverage connoisseurs the Nelson and Marlborough regions are renowned for their wineries, craft beer, and artisan food producers. Sample at the Saturday Market or take a bike ride further afield to a cellar door or farm gate vendors. In summer- don't forget to pick your own berries at one of the local farms and treat yourself to a real fruit ice cream for all your hard work!
Nelson is the outdoor persons paradise. Whether you're Bear Grylls or just want to go for a walk in the quiet, the region can provide. Take a guided fishing trip, learn to kitesurf, hire an e-bike, or go on a yacht and take in the views. In winter you can enjoy skiing local style at the bespoke Rainbow ski field. Small, community supported and a whole lot of fun for all ages - shuttles run from Nelson and gear is available for hire once you're on the mountain. Abel Tasman National Park is just one of three of the regions National Parks, each boasting unique flora and fauna, and incredible landscapes. All parks are accessible for day trips so whether you want to see a seal pup or visit the eels at Lake Rotoiti you can do it all from our doorstep.
If you are needing a fix of a bigger city during your stay you can always hop a flight to Wellington or Christchurch for a day trip!

This is our home and we hope you to enjoy it. We would ask that you leave our house in the order you found it. If you have any problems during your stay please contact us immediately. We welcome children over the age of 10 years. Absolutely no smoking or pets allowed. We would appreciate it if you would water any pot plants during your stay. You are welcome to use the spa and all other amenities - please note New Zealand law dictates that the spa lid be locked in between uses, failure to do so results in massive fines. It would be great if you could clean the house before you leave it however we are also able to offer a professional cleaning service for a fee of approximately NZD80. We live in a peaceful area, and have great neighbours so we trust that you will respect them and their property by limiting noise.
Please note that although our house is a single storey with no internal steps we do have a steepish driveway and 10 steps up to the front door. This may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.
