Oceanside living with many amenities within short walking distance. Just 2 minutes to the beach, several restaurants, coffee and gelato bars, local boutique shops, the White Rock Pier at almost .5 KM in length and the boardwalk that is 2 KM long, running parallel to the beach. 5 minutes in the car and up the hill and you'll find yourself in both a commercial and residential mix area with numerous shops, restaurants, and a couple of shopping malls.
White Rock is a fairly quiet community, a small city just south of Vancouver and 10 minutes away from the USA border. It's a great location that allows for exploration of the surrounding cities and in particular, Vancouver where there are innumerable sites and things to do.
Vancouver and the surrounding area is one of those rare places where you can golf, boat and ski — all in one day. Because of our mild climate, where greens are green year-round, it's no surprise that Vancouver area golf courses are some of the top in North America. There are many golf courses to consider.
If you are a skier, depending upon when you are visiting, skiing is an option and always close by.

As well, consider taking a ferry ride over to Vancouver Island to visit the beautiful city of Victoria, the Capitol of British Columbia. The trip through the Georgia Strait waters is a once in a lifetime experience and Victoria is a beautiful city to visit. If you do make the trip to the Island, avoid the weekends as the ferries can be very busy and be sure to book in advance with a reservation that guarantees you a spot on the boat, both ways.

We are now retired and for the most part, have an unimpeded schedule of availability and a desire to travel wherever opportunities might present themselves. We would be looking for a minimum of 2 week's exchange and longer is better.
No pets and no smoking please as we are in a Strata setting and smoking is not permitted on the property, including the outside decks. Minimal outdoor plant care may be required, dependent on time of year. A car is available.
When you arrive, our home will be clean and tidy and ideally it is the same when we return.
