In addition to all the options available directly from the cabin, the Kettle Valley Railroad section of the Trans Canada Trail is less than a kilometer away offering walking, hiking and cycling. There is horseback riding available nearby. The Kettle River Provincial Park has a large swimming area and is a good arrival point for an afternoon’s raft on the river from the cabin. A great day trip is to the Osoyoos area. It is the southern part of the Okanagan Valley and offers warm lakes, wineries and an abundance of fresh fruit. Downhill skiing is available at small local hill, Mount Baldy or an hour away at Big White.
