My husband and I have been retired for 6 years. We are active and like to travel. I was a Pension Director and my husband was a log scaler for many years. We have an adult son who is out on his own, but sometimes joins us for holidays.

Our home has been lovingly remodeled over the 26 years we have lived here. A large executive home, we are situated 15 minutes from the airport, 25 from the Ferry and 15 to downtown. Our home also backs onto the lochside/galloping goose bike trail system and buses are a short 10 minute walk away. Walking distance to a pub, restaurants, buses and grocery stores.

quiet neighbourhood and lots of young families on the street. Mostly professional neighbours and retirees. In Victoria, you are close to the water in any direction. Lakes, hiking and fishing are all close by

From our home you can walk to many shop for groceries. Short walk to the Monkey Tree Pub and some good restaurants. The Keg steakhouse is a 20 minute walk

Use the home as your own. If you find food in the fridge or cupboard, help yourself. Car may or may not be available depending on timing of exchange. Also, depending on insurance issues. New rules in the province may require payment. Leave the house as you found it :-)
