Our newer, open-designed home is located on 2.5 wooded acres on the shore of a small lake. We are located approximately 10 kilometres from downtown Victoria, capital of British Columbia. With many windows, we enjoy being surrounded by nature, with forest birds, ducks and deer. Our home has a rural setting, but there is easy access by car, to the city, shopping, the sea and recreational facilities. The small lake has private access only and is restricted to non-motorized boats. A pedal boat, canoe and life jackets are available for use on the lake.

Victoria is a popular tourist destination for Canadian and international visitors. It offers many outdoor activities such as hiking, whale watching, fishing, sailing, cycling, and has many parks. The city offers many cultural activities and has an excellent selection of cafes and restaurants. Popular attractions include the Royal B.C. Museum, Butchart Gardens, Victoria Art Gallery, University of Victoria and Royal Roads University and Gardens.
Victoria is easily accessible from Vancouver and Seattle by ferry and airplane.
