Our home on the Saanich Peninsula is conveniently located near Sidney and Victoria yet just a few minutes away from rural tranquility and forested oases. So how conveniently located are we? On foot, three minutes to the bus stop, fifteen minutes from Victoria International Airport, and twenty minutes to the town of Sidney-By-The-Sea and the Washington State Ferry that sails from Sidney through the San Juan Islands to Anacortes, Washington. By car, fifteen minutes to the BC Ferries terminal at Swartz Bay where you can catch a direct ferry to Vancouver or take one of the smaller vessels through some of the most spectacular coastal scenery imaginable linking islands large and small. The capital city of Victoria is thirty minutes by car and along the way are the world-renowned Butchart Gardens. From Victoria, Washington State Ferries operate a vehicle/passenger ferry to Port Angeles and a passenger-only ferry to downtown Seattle.

With a temperate Mediterranean-like climate, this pocket of paradise is perfect for many outdoor activities year-round: kayaking, hiking, beachcombing, boating, fishing, cycling, diving, birding, and site-seeing to name a few. After your day of exploring and adventure, come home to a soak in the hot tub or a swim in the pool in the recreation building which is part of our 55-plus community. You'll also find a lounge, games room and library when you need some down time.
