Joliette is a city of 21,000 inhabitants located one hour (65 km) from Montreal, and 90 km from Pierre Elliot Trudeau airport. It is on the road to the magnificent city of Quebec, 216 km from the condo, approximately 2h: 15 by car.
All services (grocery store, gas, public market, shopping center, theater etc...) are accessible a few minutes drive from the condo. You also have quick access to all nature activities in addition to the many cultural festivities in the Lanaudière region. The library is particularly worth a visit.
The condo is located a few minutes walk from the L'Assomption River where you can take a dip in the summer.
.A superb path behind the apartment borders the stream and is open during the 4 seasons. The falls are abundant in the spring, the colors of the magnificent leaves in the fall, cycling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, walking are practiced there. It is also possible for you by taking this path to walk to the Fernand-Lindsay outdoor amphitheater for the summer classical concerts. Bucolic place par excellence for a picnic.
There are several golf courses nearby and the "Val St-Côme" ski resort is an hour's drive away. The recognized one of "Mont-Tremblant" is 1:40 m from the house. Finally, if you come in December, you can discover the Christmas markets of the region, in February, you will have the chance to participate in the festi-glace de Joliette: activities on the 9 km of skating rink set up on the river. And in April, it will be time to indulge your sweet tooth in one of the many sugar shacks in the area.

Tous les services (épicerie, essence, marché public, centre d'achats, salle de spectacle etc...) sont accessibles à quelques minutes en voiture du condo. Vous avez aussi rapidement accès à toutes les activités-nature en plus des nombreuses festivités culturelles de la région de Lanaudière. La bibliothèque vaut particulièrement la peine d’être visitée.
Le condo est situé à quelques minutes à pied de la rivière L'Assomption où on peut faire trempette l'été.
.Un superbe sentier en arrière de l'appartement borde le cours d'eau et est ouvert pendant les 4 saisons. Les chutes sont abondantes au printemps, les coloris des feuilles magnifiques à l’automne, Vélo, raquette, ski de fond, marche y sont pratiqués. Il vous est aussi possible en empruntant ce sentier de vous rendre à pied à l'amphithéâtre extérieur Fernand-Lindsay pour les concerts classiques d'été. Endroit bucolique par excellence pour pique-niquer.
Il y a plusieurs terrains de golf à proximité et la station de ski "Val St-Côme" est à une heure de route. Celle reconnue du "Mont-Tremblant" est à 1:h 40 m de la maison. Enfin, si vous venez en décembre, vous pourrez découvrir les marchés de Noël de la région, en février, vous aurez la chance de participer au festi-glace de Joliette :soit des activités sur les 9 km de patinoire aménagés sur la rivière. Et en avril, ce sera le temps de se sucrer le bec dans une des nombreuses cabanes à sucre des alentours.
