Our 200 sqm flat, totally renewed in the interior, is at the first floor of a typical house of the first years of XX century in the Campagna Romana, in the peace of the Natural Reserve of the Litorale Romano, rounded from a large rustic garden, currently in renovation by stages. It has two bedrooms, an office, a living room and a kitchen/dining room. It has view on the fields till the exceptionally preserved Mediterranean dune, beyond which there is, 1 km far from home, the large sandy beach of Maccarese.
Some cats rest with us in the garden ("no pets" refers to dogs, because of them, of course!), under the monumental Eucalyptus (they don't use to enter in the house, but we use to feed them!). Smoke allowed in the porch and in the garden.
You can reach Rome either by train (15 minutes travel to the Vatican) or by the motorway (2 km from home). 5 minutes to Fregene, one of the most famous Thyrrenean sea villages
Also, a moment of "Mediterranean Relax ": in the garden open air jacuzzi for 6 people!

Besides the large sandy beach of Maccarese, we are 5 minutes away from Fregene, known as “la perla del Tirreno”, one of the most beautiful beaches of Central Italy, with every kind of touristic and sport attractions. There are very good restaurants all over the area.
Rome can be easily reached either by train (San Pietro Station for the Vatican is 13 minutes from Maccarese’s, that is 8 minutes drive from our house) or by car (the motorway is 2 km far from home).
Also important archaeological sites in the surroundings (first of all the Etruscan Cerveteri necropolis), 3 WWF oasis; excursions to the lakes with boat trips and into the woods on Tolfa hills. Daily excursions to Tarquinia necropolis, and lots of other touristic places in Latium, Tuscany, Umbria, Naples area and Pontine islands.
