We were lucky to stay for over 2 weeks in (without a doubt) the most beautiful village on Cyprus. Our hosts' house is a beautifully restored inside and outside historic residence, with wonderful Cypriot furniture and original trinkets. There are several terraces in the house, including one covered on the roof, from which we have a breathtaking view of both - the sea and the mountains (with the ruins of the Crusader castle). A light breeze from the sea meant, that even in summer it was never too hot there. Just like in a fairy tale. We had the impression that we were losing years while admiring these views. We were lucky (which is not always the case in parallel exchanges) to meet our hosts after our return from Cyprus to Poland. Rae and John are extremely nice and helpful people in every situation. We highly recommend exchanging houses with them.
