We are a couple in our fifties with two teenage boys. We live in Montpellier, France. George has retired from his real estate job and now teaches French and English as a foreign language. He's Bulgarian-American. Benedicte is French, she works at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Our boys are (almost) bilingual French-English and would love to make new friends.

Situated in the western suburbs of Montpellier, across from the International Golf course of Fontcaude our home is a cheerful two-story villa surrounded by a small but well-kept garden planted with olive trees, cherry trees, etc.
Depending on the period we can host and/or exchange. We have two boys in high school and one outdoor cat.

Our house is located in Juvignac, a suburban community neighboring the city of Montpellier. The tram No. 3 takes you there in 20 minutes. Across from our home is a 18-hole international golf course. The new thermal spa is less than 2 miles away. Shopping and supermarket at 1.5 miles. We have a grocery store around the corner where you can get delicious croissants and baguettes, cheese, excellent local wines, fruits, etc.
All beaches and water activities are 30 min. or less away. You have a choice between the beaches at Palavas, Carnon, La Grande-Motte or the Salagou Lake or the beautiful gorges of the Herault river.

We live in a beautiful and very popular region and the local attractions and sights are too many to list here. Let's just mention the quaint Languedoc villages, Le Pont du Gard Roman bridge, the medieval city of Aigues-Mortes, Nimes, the fishing town of Sete and of course charming Montpellier with its variety of French and international restaurants and cafes. All this is at one hour or less driving away.

We 'd love to meet families with kids preferably boys between 13 and 18 years old who are interested in a linguistic exchange. George is a French teacher and can give lessons but of course this is optional.
