Bray-Dunes is a small but lively coastal community with plenty of restaurants, shops, two big supermarkets, bakeries, a public swimming pool, two medical clinics, etc. Lively and friendly during summer months, and quiet and calm during the rest of the year, but still part of a small town community. The beachfront boulevard (pedestrians only) ends on both sides of town in two protected dune reserves: great walking areas of more than 600 hectares in total.
An ideal place for an active sea holiday, all kinds of watersports, like swimming, windsurfing, hiking, biking, windsailing on the beach, or making trips to the city of Dunkirk, choose from 3 golf courses in the area within 20 minutes drive, or discover the nearby Flamish medieval towns of Veurne, Diksmuide, research the remaining German WW2 bunkers, go to themepark Plopsaland in De Panne (only 5 km's away), etc. etc.
