All in all a great homelink
Everything about exchanging with Cathrine and Guy was simple and very straightforward. The house was very convenient to all amenities and met all our needs. We had never visited that area before and Orleans was a really pretty city. We used to drive a couple of minutes and parked our car at the tram line and visit the city. We traveled with our children so the holiday was mainly about keeping them entertained. We had lots of trips to lle Charlemange and the climbing center in Saran and we even managed a few days in Disneyland Paris. The house is ideally situated and it was easy to navigate into and out of when going on trips. When at Home we really enjoyed the large enclosed back garden where we had many barbeques and the kids really enjoyed the playing in paddling pool and the garden. The whole family spent lots of time in the Foret de Orleans which was right beside Catherine and Guys home where we went walking or cycling on the many miles of trails. There was lots of single track trails for mountain biking and trail running. We even managed a trip to Chamboard Chateau. All in all a great home swap.

Nice house in a quiet environment. The wide garden has got roses, trees and flowers..The house can welcome five persons in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. At Homelink since 2008, we made fourteen very cheerful and enriching exchanges.
We have a very pretty lady cat, Empi, who stays in the house when we leave. It's easy to look after her (cat flaps, ...)
The neighbourhood is very friendly. Your are not very far from shops and stores.
You can reach the public transports in ten minutes walk.
The Loire valley is a UNESCO protected zone.
