Our jungle home is in a peaceful rural setting overlooking a pasture, yet is still a lovely 15 minute bike-ride to Samara. Our home comes equipped with 2 beach cruisers, and you can easily rent more bikes in town.

Samara is a small beach town with a lovely horseshoe bay perfect for beginning surfers. It's small enough to feel like a real town, but just big enough to welcome International visitors with a variety of good restaurants, local shops, and a thriving Saturday market. From our home, you can easily bike to 3 different beaches, and in the dry season you can bike or drive across the nearby river to access the world-famous Barrigonia beach.

There's also a wide variety of outdoor activities: hiking, snorkeling, kayaking, horse-back riding, biking, surfing, and just walking the beaches.
