In September 2018 we were in the house of Lou & Clara and felt very comfortable from the first day. Lou & Clara met us in Nanaimo and then traveled to Dresden. Everything was perfectly prepared. With a glass of ice-cold wine on the balcony we were pleased to accompany the ferries from the mainland at the entrance to the bay. Likewise to observe the landings / takeoffs of the seaplanes. It is a pleasure to look at the lovingly maintained garden of Clara.The small cozy town of Nanaimo has everything you need. Everything is stress-free and has a special charm.Vancouver Island offers a lot to discover, the settlers' recent history, the history of the people of the first nation and a still intact nature.We liked it a lot and can highly recommend a home exchange with Lou & Clara. At this point, we would like to once again thank our exchange friends for the strong trust and the great hospitality. We would do it again and again.

Amazing interior. Wonderful view from the living room at the incoming and outgoing ferries. Quit neighborhood. Lots of things to do. Very well organized. Nanaimo harbor is a nice place to be. If you get a chance to swap: DO IT.

OCEAN VIEW HOME IN DEPARTURE BAY, NANAIMO
