My husband Dave and I are retired Canadian military. We enjoy the outdoor life, boating, golfing, hiking and travel. We have downsized from larger homes to make our cottage our primary home in Canada with a second winter home in Florida USA (55+).
Upon my retirement in 2000 we travelled to the South Pacific. We had the good fortune to return to that area in 2017. We now wish to spend part of 2018 in the Canary Islands and Portugal; however are open to other destinations. We have posted some pictures of our cottage that would probably work best for a non simultaneous exchange (3 months between May and Sept).

Our cottage is a cozy two bedroom one 4 piece bath with an open floor main area. We have a laundry area, deck with a hot tub and screened in area. Down by the lake we have a patio with a fire pit and dock.

We live 1 1/2 hours drive from Halifax, Nova Scotia on the "South Shore". Keddy Cove Road is a 5 km private gravel road. Our cottage is located 2.5 km in. Most properties have seasonal residents with three full time residents. Molega Lake is 14 km long offering many inlets and small islands to explore. Boating, fishing and swimming are the mainstay entertainment June till September. We are located 25 km from the town of
Bridgewater, though there are convenience stores close by. Golf, Ocean Beaches, coastal hikes and picturesque fishing villages are from 25 min to 45 min drive away.

As we are in the heart of Nova Scotia's South Shore it is an easy drive to such tourist attractions as the UNESCO town of Lunenburg, Mahone Bay and Liverpool that offer unique shopping and restaurant fare. There are many ocean beach areas, coastal hikes and quaint fishing villages. Bridgewater is the Hub town of the South Shore 25 min drive away offering, golf, shopping and restaurants.
