We are a family of three who love adventure, the outdoors and experiencing new things. We live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada close to the Rocky Mountains and we love to enjoy them year round with hiking, snowshoeing and skiing especially. We live in a 4 bedroom house and have 2 lovely cats, Ember and Whiskey, who are very friendly and social. We enjoy good food and are musical and involved in the arts. Kimberly is a High School Learning Support teacher and the boys, Declan and Rowan, are also in high school. We would love to offer our home to exchange and discover everything we can about your hometown!

Our kids loved to play in the playroom and loved to take care of the cat. We had a great time in Calgary and the surroundings and it was lovely to come back to the house each evening. Our spacious home is an open concept beauty in the Southeast quadrant of Calgary, AB. We have recently completed our basement which opens up a 4th bedroom, 4th bathroom and large entertainment area. The main floor of the home is open concept with the living room, kitchen and dining room open for socializing and enjoying time together as a family. Our upstairs hosts 3 bedrooms (master = queen bed, 2 bedrooms = 1 twin bed in each) and a rumpus room with a pull-out sofa bed (double). The master bedroom enjoys a large ensuite with a soaker tub and a stand up shower and there is a second bathroom in the main hallway. Enjoy some badminton or game time in our backyard or sit on our back deck furnished with a 6-seater table and BBQ.

We live in a very family-friendly neighbourhood on the south end of the City. It is a newly built neighbourhood and there are plenty of amenities nearby. Grocery stores, coffee shops, gas stations, restaurants and pubs are within 10 minutes walking distance and 2 minutes driving distance. There are many parks and playgrounds in the neighbourhood as well as a lake. Lake access may be available for those wanting to stay at least 2 weeks. Fishing, boats, a sandy beach and water park are all available to use. We are 45 minutes from great hiking, biking and snowshoeing in Kananaskis and we are a one hour and 20 minute drive to the Rocky Mountains for hiking, skiing and exploring the Canmore, Banff and Lake Louise (2 hrs.) town centres.

In the summer Calgary hosts incredible outdoor concerts and the world famous Calgary Stampede. There is a public lake/beach within 10 minutes driving distance. We are close to the Rocky Mountains and Kananaskis for hiking and exploring. Downtown you will find museums, galleries and of course, the Stampede Grounds.
